I would like to start by asking the question that is burning through my head right now…does everyone live in the city? Coz, the most popular post i have had this month has definitely been the bunk-beds and “Who says you can’t have four kids in the city?” This is definitely one of my favorite posts!! So back by popular demand, I thought I would compile a gallery of kids’ bedrooms that do an awesome job of space saving!!!! However, before I do so, there is one website on interior design that I think is super and where you can get terrific ideas for your kid’s bedrooms as well as your overall home, www.freshome.com. See this article for some very inspirational ideas on bunk beds http://freshome.com/2011/12/19/30-fresh-space-saving-bunk-beds-ideas-for-your-home/.
Another website that I really like is www.home-designing.com which also published a post on space saving ideas for kids’ bedrooms…http://www.home-designing.com/2012/02/space-saving-designs-for-small-kids-rooms. I do love adding links to my posts, there is so much information out there, and its so great that we can all share it.
And now, without further ado, please see the gallery below. The loft beds are a great space saver, since you can use the space underneath the bed for either playing or you can place a desk underneath for an older child. Note the drawers under and beside the bunk beds, as well as the in-built shelves which are a great use of space.
